Infection Control Bib

During dental procedure(s), gauze, dental floss, tissue, etc. are used and absorb patients fluids, such as blood and saliva. Currently, dentists place these contaminated items on tray or on flat bib, leaving items exposed during entire procedure. With my invention, all items will be placed in bib pocket, bib is then folded into pocket as well, and pocket is then sealed, containing all items within. Even if items are placed on tray during procedure, they can then be placed in pocket at the end of each procedure and this will contain each individual patients contaminated items in one, sealed area. Also, there are occasions when a patient may vomit during a procedure, the pocket of the bib can then be used as a bag for vomit, pocket is then sealed, and entire bib disposed. Overall, my Infection Control Bib will promote more sanitary measures as well as enhance infection control.
